Kazakhstan has a huge agricultural potential. The Netherlands has the necessary technologies for the creation of integrated food clusters. Agrarians of the two countries discussed this in The Hague. According to the agrarians, the two factors give a high relevance and profitability to cooperation. During the visit to Holland, domestic agricultural producers got acquainted with the technologies including energy and water efficient smart greenhouses that reduce emissions into atmosphere as well as projects that increase yields without harming the quality of products.

HENK VAN TUYL, EXPORT AREA MANAGER, KUBO GREENHOUSE, NETHERLANDS:
- This is a greenhouse of the fifth generation. It means it is optimized in controlling the climate and it is using the minimum resources to get the maximum number of tomatoes or cucumbers. We see here crop of tomato and a combination with artificial light. The greenhouse can produce probably up to 100 tonnes of tomato per year and for cucumbers production can be up to 50 tonnes. The newest milking technologies are used in this dairy farm. The sensors of the apparatus display the full picture of the health of a cow and fix the quantity and quality of the milk. In the Netherlands in addition to getting acquainted with processes of making livestock products, the Kazakh agricultural producers outlined future plans.

As a result of the meetings, representatives of Kazakhstan intend to create an industrial agricultural park with the participation of the leading Dutch research institute, Wageningen University. According to domestic agricultural producers, this can be a great help for launching a large innovative agrocluster.
