The USA is one of the largest investors in Kazakhstan. American companies have invested nearly $27 million in Kazakhstan’s economy since 2005. The U.S. companies are particularly interested in non-primary sector which has great development prospects. According to U.S. Ambassador to Kazakhstan George Krol, close cooperation between Kazakh and American businessmen will allow Kazakhstan to diversify its economy faster. A meeting between Nursultan Nazarbayev and Donald Trump will contribute to building better ties between both the investors and politicians.

- I think it’s very important for my president and for president Nazarbayev to have this opportunity to sit together. They can give therefore if the governments people like myself, the ambassadors, the way they head things they want to do.
