Kazakhstan’s agro-industrial complex is increasing its export potential. One of the promising areas is production of animal feed. The largest flour mill in Eastern Kazakhstan, Shemonaikhinsky, recycles 600 tonnes of grain per day and produces 34 kinds of professional granulated forages. Products of European quality are exported to the Central Asian countries, Afghanistan and Iran.

YUSUF AKYN, OPERATOR, TECHNOLOGIST:
- We imported all the equipment from Turkey. 25 tonnes are processed in an hour which is 450, 000 tonnes of professional granulated feeds per year. We locally process oats and wheat. Therefore, the quality is high.

The production at the enterprise is automated which increases efficiency. Thanks to new technologies, feeds are enriched with useful microelements.

AUELBEK ABSEITOV, ASSISTANT OF OPERATOR:
- We are producing feed for calves. The feed has more than 12 vitamins including fat. The feed for calves are exported to Russia.

In 2014, the plant established a new workshop and launched the feed for birds and domestic animals. The products have no analogues in the region and actively enter foreign markets.

AIVAZ OSMANOV, DIRECTOR, FLOUR MILL, EAST KAZAKHSTAN REGION:
