Prime Minister Mr J.Erdenebat was on a working tour in Umnugovi (South Gobi) province last weekend, and paid site visits to Oyu Tolgoi concentrator, underground mining development, “Tsagaan Suvarga” (White Stupa) mine, “Gashuunsukhait” border checkpoint, “Tavantolgoi” and “Energy Resource” mining companies.
He emphasized an importance of forwarding the major construction and mining projects as an exit from the current economic difficulties and the project must serve both in favor of the interests of the people and business entities.
The head of government also urged the related ministries and shareholders of the projects to lay off the good-for-nothing arguments over politics and papers, and to focus on the progression.
Mr J.Erdenebat was accompanied by two members of parliament, minister of Mining and Heavy Industry, minister of Energy and minister of Road and Transport Development.
