The exhibition's main objectives are to expand the cooperation between Mongolian and Russian businessmen. Co-organized by the Russian Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the "Business Contact" company, this year's exhibition is running for the 22nd time, bringing together 40 representatives of 25 companies engaged in energy, mining, agriculture, sciences and education sectors, from Russia's Moscow, Siberia, Omsk, Tomsk, Irkutsk and Chita.
The mining sector of Mongolia has intensively been developing and this attracts Russian businessmen. At the exhibition they are seeking ways to cooperate in the mining sector, whereas the Mongolian businessmen are learning the Russians' experience.
The Mongolian side has already received cooperation proposals from the Russians, for example, representatives the State University of Tomsk want to collaborate in supplying facilities and equipment to the projected fifth thermal power station, the Siberian Academy of Sciences seeks our microbiologists to cooperate.
In frames of the exhibition, a Russia-Mongolia forum will run to discuss ways of realizing the proposals.
