Kazakh singer Dimash Kudaibergen won the first stage of the music competition in China. The decision of the jury and the spectators to award the young singer was unanimous.

The 22-year-old singer sang the famous song in French on the show “I Am a Singer”. The audience applauded standing. According to Dimash Kudaibergen’s manager the show consists of 14 stages.

People across Kazakhstan, including are following Dimash Kudaibergen’s performance in the competition. In his hometown Aktobe, the singer’s mother Svetlana Aitbaeva told us about her son. At the age of 5, Dimash was sent to a music school, where he learned to play the piano. Afterwards, he entered the Aktobe College of Music, the department of academic singing. The first significant event in the singer’s career was Zhas Kanat competition in 2012, where he was the winner. A year later, Dimash won the international festival of young performers Meikin Asia in Kyrgyz capital Bishkek. Two years later, he was a winner of the Slavic Bazaar festival in Russia’s Vitebsk. And now, Dimash impresses the jury of the Chinese competition among professionals with his voice and flawless performance. The project will last five months. During this time, the singer plans to perform Kazakh folk songs. He will also perform an arrangement in the Chinese language.

We are very pleased with Dimash’s success. I believe, his victory is the victory of our people. He was able to stand out among the large number of participants. He is the youngest of all performers. This competition involves only the strongest singers, the professionals.
