In a "Forbes" magazine's recent release on index of best countries for business, Mongolia has taken the 54th place among 145 countries.
It shows that Mongolia has gone up by ten places against the previous year's index.
The bests are Ireland, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Denmark and Sweden. Mongolia is followed by Costa Rica, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Oman and Bahrain.
The countries with huge economies such as Russia, China, India and Indonesia are ranked behind Mongolia.
Our country was 59th in 2008 and 2009, 68th in 2010, 63th in 2011, and 64th in 2012.
The Forbes says Mongolia's Gross Domestic Product is USD 10 billion, the GDP per capita--USD 3,200, the economic growth--12.3%, the unemployment rate--9% and the inflation rate--14.2%.
