From today on, an investment guide system launched its operation in Mongolia. Prime Minister Mr Ch.Saikhanbileg attended the opening ceremony for the website www.theiguides.org.
This website provides essential up-to-date information for investors on the current economic situation of Mongolia, its leading economic sectors, legal and investment environment, the investment opportunities and instructions on how to get registered and to apply for special licenses.
The introduction of the e-system will help investors to obtain open and prompt information and will be conducive to improve investment environment. This is a certain step the Government of Mongolia is taking in the light of its policy in support of direct investments.
As a result of this policy, Mongolia ranked 56th among 189 countries in the 2016 "Doing Business" report published by The World Bank (WB).
