More than 600 guests and representatives from 23 Asian countries are participating in the Asian Youth Forum which is going on in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The event that is officially named as XIII Asian Youth Council General Assembly is organized under the topic “One Asia 2015: Youth participation in stable development”.
The participants of the 4-day forum will discuss issues concerning education, employment, health, gender, the participation of youth in stable development, policy regarding youth development and programs for the development of youth. In the framework of the event, a discussion on the topic “Young business leaders” and a meeting of the Youth of North West Asia were also held.
President of Mongolia Mr Elbegdorj delivered opening remarks at the Asian Youth Forum and wished success in their event. He reminded that if the young people don’t care about the changing, the society wouldn’t change.
Suggestions and opinions concerning the Sustainable Development Goals made by the youths from Asian countries will be compiled and submitted to the UN working group.
