The unique complex for the Maitreya Buddha will be erected at the place Ogoomoriin valley in the territory of Tuv aimag’s Sergelen soum, 50 km far from Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia.
“Maitreya” in the ancient Sanskrit language means loving-kindness and taking care. The Maitreya Buddha, the God of the Future is a symbol of peace, unity, compassion and amenity. The Buddhist countries have tradition to create the Maitreya Buddha and entrust to him all the best of coming years. As Buddhists say, today humanity enjoys a high intellectual development, but it lacks amenity and morality, even the world at large is looking for safety. Thus, it is high time for Maitreya era to come to this world.
Mongolians has already started to create the gigantic Maitreya complex containing ancient Buddha image and modern-day development achievement. The complex is designated to run many-sided activities for religious and cultural perception and tourism.
Just only the Buddha statue of the complex is 54-meter high or 8-meter more than the famous Lady liberty in the USA. 108-meter high white marble stupa never seen in the world is to be loomed up behind the statue. Currently, gigantic feet of the Maitreya Buddha are displayed temporary outside the Gandantechinlen monastery, the Center of Mongolian Buddhists, and attract more attention of the believers and worshippers.
The construction works at the complex will be completely finished in 2020. The complex for the Maitreya Buddha symbolizing a good amenity in the future is being created by “Genco” group which before has erected Chinggis khaan’s monument, the highest in the World.
Mongolia has firstly attracted the tourists with its pristine nature, cultural and historical curiosities. Nowadays, the country already admires the foreign guests for this kind of new creations unique in the World.
