Kazakhstan is planning to create an educational hub in Central Asia. The republic expands cooperation in this area with the leading foreign universities. The days of Kazakhstani education have been held in seven countries this year. Presentation of Kazakhstani universities and achievements in education was held in the joint university in Beijing.

ZULFIYA TOREBEKOVA, VICE PRESIDENT, CENTER OF INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS:
- 13,000 foreign students study in Kazakhstan. 1,700 of them are from China. The number of Kazakhstanis receiving education in China also reaches 13,000 people.

As a results of successful cooperation in the field of education, thousands of Kazakhstanis have been trained in leading Chinese universities. Qualified specialists apply their experience and knowledge in Kazakhstan. At the same time, students from China learn the Kazakh language and are interested in culture.

ZHOU WENZIN, STUDENT,CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF NATIONS:
- I am learning Kazakh language and literature at the Central University of Nations. This year, in June, I completed internship in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. I had a great time there with teachers and Kazakh students. I learned a lot. I think I should go to Kazakhstan after graduation.

Presentation of 20 Kazakhstani universities took place in major Chinese cities. Such a presentation was a unique opportunity to acquaint China with our opportunities in education, attract students and conclude new agreements.

ABDIMUTALIP ABZHAPPAROV, RECTOR, KOKSHETAU STATE UNIVERSITY:
- As part of our bilateral cooperation, we have signed agreements with Chinese universities on the exchange of students and teachers, and on development of joint scientific projects. We are preparing documents for a double degree education. The outcome of the talks is very good.

The days of Kazakhstani education have been also held in the universities of Shanghai, in particular in the universities of Jinhua and Fudan.
