The economic growth of Mongolia rose by 7.4% in first quarter of this year compared with the same period of 2013 according to a preliminary report of the National Statistical Committee (NSC).
By this figure, the economic growth of Mongolia reached the highest peak in last two years. In first quarter of 2014, the GDP size exceeded 1.1 billion Togrog, the NSC said.
In first quarter of 2013, the GDP increased by 7.1% against the year 2012. In previous years, the GDP growth showed an increase of 12.2%, officials said.
As seen from the preliminary indicator, the GDP growth increased compared to the previous year.
