Today, Deputy PM U.Enkhtuvshin opened an International Exhibition within the framework of the Second Asian Ministerial Conference for Disaster Risk Reduction (AMCDRR) at the Sukhbaatar Square.
"The purpose of this exhibition is to exchange information and experience on many issues including application of science and technology development to disaster risk reduction, countries’ achievements in disaster risk reduction and history, culture, tradition and development of the countries in Asia-Pacific region,” stated the Deputy PM.
“Disaster risk reduction actions with public involvement and experiences caught my attention”

He also noted “I believe, besides the participants of the AMCDRR, citizens from all over the country and tourists will visit the exhibition and apply the achievements, innovation, best solutions and experience in their lives and activities, and this exhibition will make the beginning of scientific, technological and business partnership between the international organizations of the countries in Asia-Pacific region and citizens." Deputy PM also invited foreign guests of the conference to travel Mongolia getting information on tourism in Mongolia which shows life, customs, history, traditions, breathtaking landscapes of Mongolia and Mongolian Naadam Festival.

The exhibition is being jointly organized by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, the Governor's Office of the Capital City and the National Emergency Management Agency, and 49 countries and international organizations are presenting their activities on disaster risk reduction.
