The academic years of 2014-2015 of the Mongolian educational sector started with an upgraded programme and renovated policy. The government of Mongolia is focusing on the education content based on knowledge in order to prepareng creative children and right Mongolians.
The educational reform has been formulated based on scientific proof, attracting some 100 scientists and scholars in order to match the educational system with the national feature. The renovated programme being realized for the 1st to fifth grade lessons were tested at 40 laboratory schools in the academic years of 2013-2014.
Traditionally, the President of Mongolia gives a lesson with a specific topic to pupils on the first day of the new academic years. This year, the leader of Mongolia Mr Elbegdorj gave a TV lesson themed "Creative education--creative person" in connection with implementing an updated programme for primary education. The pupils at the lesson shared their opinions with the President.
Through the academic new years’ opening, the reforms for the primary education launched, whereas the upgraded programmes for secondary and high schools will be tested in the academic years of 2014-2015.
