MONTSAME and Xinhua News Agencies renew cooperation agreement

Within a scope of ongoing visit of Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh to China, a cooperation agreement between MONTSAME National News Agency of Mongolia and XINHUA News Agency of China was signed on April 10 in Beijing.
Sh.Batbold, deputy director of the MONTSAME News Agency, and by Liu Zhengrong, vice president and secretary general of Xinhua News Agency, signed the agreement.
According to the renewed agreement, the news agencies will cooperate in exchanging Chinese, Russian and English news and photographs, organizing reciprocal working tours of the journalists, reporters, editors and technical workers of the agencies to share experiences and conduct training and internship, and co-organizing a photo exhibition during special occasions of holidays and events of the two countries.
In 1958, an ‘Agreement on exchanging news between MONTSAME Agency of the Mongolian People’s Republic and Xinhua Agency of the People’s Republic of China’ was established. Since then, the agencies have been developing their friendly cooperation. Moreover, the agencies have their permanent correspondents in Ulaanbaatar and Beijing cities mutually and pay persistent attention on expanding bilateral relations.
