Providing flexible, transparent and high-quality management in energy sector is a strategic goal of Azerbaijan and all state support is focused on the modernization and effective regulation of this field, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov stated as he addressed the international forum “Russian energy week” in Moscow.

Azerbaijani minister addressed the forum on the topic “Efficiency of the power regulation: common and individual approaches of the countries”. Parviz Shahbazov pointed out that the impact of new technologies on the energy sector, renewable energy sources and energy efficiency, carbon emissions reduction have become priority in the energy policy of the countries.
