The robe of the chief justice of the Court of the Astana International Financial Center was solemnly handed over to the High Court of England and Wales. Kazakh Ambassador to the Unite Kingdom Yerlan Idrisov, AIFC Governor Kairat Kelimbetov, Lord Justice of Appeal in the Court of Appeal of England and Wales Sir Christopher Floyd as well as the members of the Legal Advisory Council under the AIFC attended the ceremony. The author of the robe design was Lord Harry Kenneth Woolf, one of the most authoritative judges in modern British judicial history.

HARRY KENNETH WOOLF, CHIEF JUSTICE, AIFC COURT:
- The colors of the Kazakhstan flag would be blue edging against the black robe as well as the gold. I hope it will be different to the robes.

SIMON COX, MEMBER, LEGAL ADVISORY COUNCIL, AIFC:
- I think it is a great celebration of the new court being established. I think we will be making with our teams to try the most effective way of promoting the message of the court and the independence of the judiciary.

The exhibition of judges' robes was founded 47 years ago and has been playing a unique educational role. Now, thousands of tourists from all over the world can find the robe of the chief justice of the AIFC Court in the collection. Foreign experts highlight the importance of this event in the history of the two countries.
