Domestic electric buses manufacturers plan to increase production capacities. The first test model of public transport was presented in Kazakhstan. Electric buses are charged in only 8 minutes and last for 70 kilometers. Among the advantages of the new vehicle are absence of exhaust gases and noiseless. In addition, no vibration is felt in the bus cabin and most importantly, it is economical.

ERLAN STAMBEKOV, CHAIRMAN, SUPERVISORY BOARD OF PARASAT JSC:

There are no oils, no filters. There is only maintenance of electric motors and, as a rule, electric motors have a very large resource - over one million kilometers of run. And the battery works for about 10 years.

The EU plans from 2030 to completely abandon cars with gasoline and diesel engines. They will be replaced by electric cars. Production staff in Kazakhstan also views the same future. Graduates-machine builders of Satpayev Kazakh National Technical University develop software for the electric buses.

AMIRBEK ABIYEV, STUDENT, SATPAYEV KAZAKH NATIONAL TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY:

We will control how the driver drives. If there are any violations, or a speed limit, the bus will stop smoothly.

In addition, Kazakhstani buses can be monitored remotely. For example, a dispatcher can control from the office the technical condition of transport via the Internet and even stop the bus remotely. In the future, domestic electric cars are planned to be equipped with domestic batteries, then their price will be reduced twice. Now two test models are ready, they have already passed test trips. In total, it is planned to produce up to 1,000 electric machines in a year.
