The updated version of Kazakhstan’s literature website was presented in Astana. The website was updated according to international standards. The developers have also created a convenient interface. Now, a user can find not only Kazakh classics but also modern literary works, and also read news about literature. The website’s technical capacity has expanded after the modernization. Users can now download audio and video books. The website features a mobile app.

I wish the project success and long lasting life. I hope this Web portal will promote and protect interests of Kazakh literature. There are many talented Kazakh writers who need promotion.

The presentation was held as a literary evening. The participants enjoyed works of authorship and Kazakh classic literature. Minister of Information and Communications Dauren Abayev read a poem by Kazakh people’s writer Kadyr Myrzaliyev.

The literary portal, created with the support of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Information and Communications, has operated for more than three years. The main objective is the promotion of Kazakh literature and organization of art events. Currently, the website offers nearly 5,000 books, and more than 3 million author personal pages. There is a collection of fairy tales and legends, audiobooks and educational encyclopedia for children.
