On the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, President of Mongolia Mr Elbegdorj and his accompanying delegation arrived Wednesday in Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation for a working visit at the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation Mr Vladimir Putin.

On the sidelines of his working visit, President Elbegdorj met with Mongolian students who are studying in Moscow and attended the opening ceremony of a monument called “Horses to the Victory” presented by the people of Mongolia to Russia, dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The monument of Mongol horses was created by the citizens and sculptors to commerorate Soviet and Mongolian soldiers who had participated in the Great Patriotic War.
After that, President of Mongolia visited the Central museum of the Great Patriotic War which is situated in Poklonnaya hill in the west of Moscow and paid tribute by laying a wreath to the “Hall of Glory”. He presented a smaller version of the monument “Horses to the Victory” to the Museum.
