Astana is hosting the international conference "Kazakhstan-China: Trust, Cooperation, Stability" to mark the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and China. Representatives of the diplomatic corps, political scientists, and businessmen discussed questions of bilateral cooperation in energy, cultural and educational sphere, and as part of the strategic project "Silk Road Economic Belt." According to the participants, the Kazakh-Chinese relations have historically been characterized by mutual respect and constructive dialogue. In their opinion, the Institute of Confucius at Gumilyov Eurasian National University plays an important role in bringing the two countries together. This year it marks the 10th anniversary.

SAULE KOSHANOVA, DIRECTOR, INSTITUTE OF CONFUCIUS, GUMILYOV EURASIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY:
- We conduct Chinese classes and cultural events. At the same time, we have been actively developing the scientific direction in recent years.
