The Ambassador of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of Turkey to Mongolia, Mr Mustafa Sarnic visited the MONTSAME, Mongolia's national news agency on September 13.
The Director-General of the MONTSAME Ms S.Altantsetseg received the Ambassador. She thanked him for visiting our Agency and then spoke about the MONTSAME's history, activities and policy tendencies.
In response, Mr Sarnic said he receives the latest news from the MOTSAME every morning and thanked for warmly welcoming him. He said the MONTSAME occupies a honorable place in Mongolia'smedia sphere and thanked for keeping informed of events happening in Mongolia.
Ms. S.Altantsetseg informed that MONTSAME Agency is a member of the Organization of Asia Pacific News Agency /OANA/ and a member of its Executive Board. Last year, MONTSAME hosted the 33th annual meeting of the Executive Board of OANA.

"It is a great pleasure for me to visit MONTSAME News Agency and hold effective talks with Director General Ms. S.Altantsetseg. I take over the office of the Ambassador of Turkey to Mongolia two months ago. Before coming to Mongolia, I had been working as general consul in many countries. As an Ambassador, I am assigned to Mongolia first time. I know that MONTSAME and Anadolu Agency of Turkey have close cooperation. With Ms. Altantsetseg, I have discussed ways of advancing the cooperation between the two agencies in the future. I would like to emphasize that the Embassy of Turkey in Mongolia will provide supports in maintaining and fostering these relations.”

His Excellency Ambassador said that there is opportunity to send reporters of MONTSAME to Turkey through the cannels of Anadolu to share experiences and expressed his readiness to render pertinent assistance.
