On the eve of the high-level meeting scheduled for September 13, the guarantor countries are planning to hold the Joint Working Group’s meeting. Meanwhile, international experts speak highly of the peacekeeping initiatives of Kazakhstan. President of the Society for Solidarity and Cooperation with the Kurdish People Yuri Nabiyev believes that the Astana Process contributes to the settlement of the conflict in Syria.

YURI NABIYEV, PRESIDENT, SOCIETY FOR SOLIDARITY AND COOPERATION WITH KURDISH PEOPLE:
- Over the years, President Nazarbayev has shown himself as a very wise and far-sighted politician. The neutrality policy is the great achievement of this young state. Kazakhstan can be proud to hold the Astana process. In my opinion, the Astana process played its role in preparing for the next steps.
