Greek Athens Technology Center (ATC) has expressed its desire to build cooperation with Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AzerTAc) in the field of media innovations.
The issue was discussed as ATC General Manager Yannis Kliafas met AzerTAc Director General Aslan Aslanov.
Mr. Aslanov said AzerTAc attaches particular emphasis to the application of media innovations. He said Azerbaijan is now hosting many high-profile international events, adding AzerTAc is widely covering these events. He said Baku would host the 16th General Assembly of the Organization of Asia Pacific News Agencies (OANA) and the 5th News Agencies World Congress in 2016, adding AzerTAc would chair these two organizations for three years.
Mr. Aslanov hailed the proposal of ATC, saying media innovations can play a critical role in “managing a big flow of information that we will have when Azerbaijan hosts the inaugural European Games next year”.
Mr. Kliafas provided an insight into media innovations offered by ATC. He said the company maintained partnership with many leading news agencies in Europe. “Innovations offered by ATC open up ample opportunities for effective management of information, optimization of resources and improvement of multimedia production.”
They expressed confidence that cooperation between the agency and the company would be fruitful.
ATC is an international software company. For more than 25 years it has provided innovative solutions for governments, media, banking, distribution, manufacturing and services sectors.
