Baku, March 28 (AzerTAc). Director General of Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AzerTAc) Aslan Aslanov has today met Ambassador of Morocco to the country Hasan Hami to discuss prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the field of information and the role of national news agencies in expanding bilateral bonds.
The Director General of AzerTAc stressed that the official news agencies of the two countries have great potential to contribute to developing the bilateral ties.
Aslanov lauded national leader Heydar Aliyev’s contributions to establishing and strengthening Azerbaijan-Morocco ties. He highlighted AzerTAc’s history, the agency`s achievements and its position in ensuring the country`s official information policy.
The Ambassador emphasized the importance of signing an agreement between the Morocco News Agency and AzerTAc, and expressed confidence that the document would contribute to strengthening the bilateral relations in the field of information.
The diplomat noted the necessity of disseminating news concerning the two countries by quoting the official sources.
They also pointed to Azerbaijan’s recent achievements, and emphasized that under President Ilham Aliyev the country entered a qualitatively new era of its development and became a major actor in the system of international economic relations.
