Azerbaijani President receives Bulgarian Premier
Baku, April 26 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.
President Ilham Aliyev said bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria were rapidly developing in various fields, including in the economic one.
The Azerbaijani leader praised trade between the two countries.
The Head of State underlined the importance of Boyko Borisov`s visit to Azerbaijan in terms of defining new directions of bilateral relations.
The Azerbaijani President expressed confidence that the visit would be fruitful.
Boyko Borisov noted Bulgaria and Azerbaijan enjoyed good cooperation traditions.
The Premier said the two countries had big opportunities to expand bilateral ties.
President Ilham Aliyev and Premier Boyko Borisov then were joined by their delegations.
The Azerbaijani President underlined the importance of the fact that the Bulgarian PM was accompanied by a large delegation.
The Head of State said Azerbaijan was interested in enhancing cooperation with Bulgaria with concrete projects even more.
Touching upon economic relations, President Ilham Aliyev noted there was good potential to boost energy cooperation.
The Azerbaijani leader stressed the importance of developing bilateral cooperation in the fields of transport, tourism, information technologies and agriculture.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed assurance Boyko Borisov`s visit to Azerbaijan would give concrete results in terms of strengthening bilateral relationship even more.
The Premier expressed hope the issues discussed would contribute to expansion of relations between the two countries and peoples.
The Bulgarian PM stressed the importance of reciprocal visits in terms of developing the bilateral cooperation.
President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Boyko Borisov then had a joint dinner.
