Azerbaijani President receives Georgian Premier

Baku, July 16 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Georgian Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili.
The Head of State congratulated Mr. Merabishvili on his appointment as a new PM of Georgia and wished him successes.
President Ilham Aliyev said Mr. Merabishvili`s visit to Azerbaijan created good opportunities for discussing the issues of development of bilateral relations in all directions even more, in particular in the political and economic fields.
Vano Merabishvili expressed pleasure with his first visit to Azerbaijan as Prime Minister.
During the meeting, they discussed expansion of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia in various fields.
