Baku, April 27 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Science, Industry and Technology Minister of Turkey Nihat Ergun and his accompanying delegation.
President Ilham Aliyev stressed relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey develop successfully in various fields, and underlined existence of `good` opportunities for expanding cooperation in science, industry and technology ones. The Head of State expressed assurance that the visit of the Turkish Minister would be `important` in terms of defining cooperation opportunities in the relevant spheres.
Nihat Ergun extended greetings of Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the Head of State. The Turkish Minister expressed satisfaction with his Azerbaijan visit and meeting with President Ilham Aliyev. Nihat Ergun expressed hope that they would hold effective discussions on deepening cooperation between the relevant ministries of the two countries.
The Head of State asked the Minister to pass on his greetings to the President and Prime Minister of Turkey.
