At the invitation of Mongolian Prime Minister J.Erdenebat, Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang is paying an official visit to Mongolia on July 13-14, 2016.
Li Keqiang is being accompanied by his country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Agriculture, the Minister of Commerce, the First Secretary-General of the State Council, chairman of the Development Research Center of the State Council, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, and other officials.
As we informed before, during his visit to Mongolia in 2014 President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping made a historical decision to lift up bilateral relations to the level of comprehensive strategic partnership.
His present visit is particular for being held at the level of Prime Minister. As a part of the visit, 15 important bilateral cooperation documents were signed most of which cover constructions.
As a result of long negotiations, China decided to write off Mongolia’s debts which amount to 38 billion MNT (18.00 million USD). Moreover, another important outcome of Li Keqiang’s visit is that the two countries identified new directions of bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
