Professor of Danish Glostrup Hospital Rigmor Jensen in her interview to AzerTAc`s correspondents has said her desire was to see the beautiful places of Nagorno-Karabakh.

“I believe that I will have an opportunity to visit those territories, as well as Nagorno-Karabakh during my next visit,” said Ms Jensen as she is in Baku to attend an international neurology conference.

“We held very interesting discussions at the international neurology conference in Baku. Young Azerbaijani scientists impressed me. Azerbaijan`s health will develop even further. The young generation is growing in this regard.”

Ms Jensen also hailed the development of Baku, saying “flame towers with high buildings, beautiful infrastructure, specially give various charms to the capital”. The scientist said she also visited the regions of Azerbaijan, including ancient Shaki, historical and cultural monuments, mythic and religious temples in Guba.

Ms Jensen also noted that the photos she took in Khinalig graced the walls of her room at Glostrup Hospital.

The scientist also said she attended a wedding ceremony in Azerbaijan, and praised the country`s national traditions. “Positive, national dances admired me. This was the best wedding I have ever seen. You have beautiful traditions.”

Ms Jensen said she was aware of realities of Azerbaijan. She expressed confidence that the conflict will be solved, and that Azerbaijan will return its territories through peaceful means.
