The Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia Mr U.Khurelsukh Friday met with Mr Yu.Trutnev, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District.
Mr Khurelsukh expressed a satisfaction with intensification of the mutual high level visits and emphasized that the visit of the Russian President V.Putin paid last September to Mongolia significantly contributed to the relations. He said Mongolia put forward a proposal to the Russian side to reduce the tax to zero for a concrete period for Mongolian agricultural products such as meat and light industrial goods with an aim to balance the bilateral trade turnover.
He requested the Russian Deputy PM to support this suggestion and said the Mongolian government will make efforts to move forward with implementation of the biggest projects.
In response, Mr Trutnev said his country is ready to build a joint meat factory starting it by feasibility study if the Mongolian side backs.
