Experts discuss the Kazakh President’s address on the need to hold the third modernization of the economy. Economists mark the ambition of the tasks set by Nursultan Nazarbayev. Analysts stress that the new address is particularly important, because it gives the start to a new stage of transformation of not only the economy but also the society as a whole.

Yes, this is certainly a very ambitious goal. And it would require much time and a large number of all kinds of resources, both the financial and human. Human resources were also mentioned in the address. The need to improve the human capital that will be required to realize these ambitious goals was said. But the problem is that these problems must be solved, because it is vitally urgent issue, which in any case needs to be resolved, as the structure of the present economy does not allow Kazakhstan to reach the goals stated in the Strategy-2050.

- I believe that the third phase of the modernization of Kazakhstan’s economy is a logical continuation of the socio-economic and political transformations of the country, which will facilitate sustainable economic growth. The main drivers, new drivers of growth in the new stage of modernization will be such industries as agriculture, transport and logistics complex, as well as the construction industry. They will have the additional multiplier effect on the economy and employment of Kazakhstan’s population.
