Mr Ri Su Yong, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) started on Monday his three-day official visit to Mongolia at the invitation of Mr L.Purevsuren, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
During his official visit to Mongolia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK will be received by the President of Mongolia Mr Ts.Elbegdorj and the Prime Minister Mr Ch.Saikhanbileg.
He will hold official talks with the Mongolian Foreign minister and meet with Ms R.Burmaa, Minister of Food and Agriculture, who is the head of the Mongolian side of the Mongolia-DPRK intergovernmental consultative commission on economy, trade, science and technical cooperation.
During the talks, the two sides are expected to conclude agreements on the political, economic, cultural, labor and humanitarian spheres, to share views on Ulaanbaatar Dialogue on security in NorthEast Asia and on the bilateral cooperation in regional and international arenas and to re-establish a memorandum of mutual understanding signed by two ministeries.
Mr Ri Su Yong graduated from the Institute of Foreign Relations in Pyongyang and has served as Ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to Lichtenstein, the Netherlands and Switzerland. He has served as a Resident Representative of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to the United Nations in Geneva.  
He has been awarded the title of the Hero of Labor of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and numerous other honors for his public service.
