During his official visit to Japan, the Chairman of the State Great Khural Mr Z.Enkhbold Tuesday received Mr Shinzo Abe, the Prime Minister of Japan.
Mr Abe said he is satisfied with the Mongolian Speaker's visit, which is coincided with the 43rd anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries, and underlined an importance of this visit for the bilateral political and economic cooperation.
In response, Mr Enkhbold emphasized that people and the state of Mongolia are always grateful to Japan for supporting the Mongolian democracy and reforms. He said he highly values Mr Abe's initiatives "which have a great importance for our economic cooperation". 
Noting that Mongolian parliament ratified the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA), recently signed by the Prime ministers of the two countries, Mr Enkhbold hoped that Japan’s parliament will also ratify the Agreement in the near future.
Mr Abe said that Japanese businessmen are interested in investing in Mongolia, and expressed a hope that the Mongolian Speaker will pay attention to forming nice conditions for the investors.
The Speaker of Mongolian parliament asked Mr Abe to back those Japanese companies that want to participate in a project on the railway construction in the eastern region of Mongolia, saying the “Nippon steel” Japanese company has already expressed a readiness to supply rails iron.

Mongolia's cashmere accounts for 40 percent of the world market but only 10 percent of it is processed, Mr Enkhbold noted and expressed a willingness to introduce the Japanese high technology so as to supply the world with the processed cashmere.
