A plane of the Ministry of Emergency Situations carrying citizens of Azerbaijan and Georgia evacuated in an aftermath of a quake in Nepal has landed in Baku. The aircraft departed from the capital of Azerbaijan on Wednesday to deliver humanitarian aid to quake-hit Nepal. It carried 13 Azerbaijani and 4 Georgian citizens on its way back.

At the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the evacuated people told reporters they thank President Ilham Aliyev for instructing the Ministry of Emergency Situations to evacuate them from Nepal.
