On the 30th of April, President of Mongolia Mr Elbegdorj received Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Mongolia Mr Tadeush Homitsky in connection with the termination of his diplomatic mission in Mongolia.
President Elbegdorj emphasized that the relations between the both two countries had a big achievement over the 5 years during which Mr. Tadeush Homitsky had worked as Ambassador to Mongolia.

The President noted that Mongolia attaches a great importance to the relations with Poland regarding as Mongolia’s third neighbor in the European Union. He said that after becoming the full-fledged member of the Organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Mongolia started more active cooperation with the European Union.

President Elbegdorj also said that this year marks the 65th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Poland. He mentioned that the anniversary coincides with the 25th anniversary of the democratic changes and transition to a free society in Mongolia and the Republic of Poland.
