On Tuesday, the State Great Khural or Parliament of Mongolia on its plenary session finally approved all the 18 nominees for members of the new Coalition government including 15 heads of the related ministries. Today, on the 10th of December, Prime minister Mr Saikhanbileg handed over the stamps to newly appointed ministers.
Thus, the new cabinet now consists of ministers representing all political parties having seats in the parliament - 9 ministers from the ruling Democratic Party, 6 ministers from the Mongolian People’s party and 3 ministers from the “Justice” сoalition.
To remind, Prime minister Mr Saikhanbileg has sent a proposal letter to all the political forces that have seats in the Parliament on establishing the Coalition government where the opposition force or Mongolian People’s party has accepted the request.
Before being appointed, the candidates for the ministerial positions were also questioned at the related Standing committees of the parliament and then introduced to the President of Mongolia, afterwards parliament Speaker Mr Enkhbold has called a plenary session to discuss each candidate.

6. Mr. L.Purevsuren - Minister of Foreign Affairs
7. Mr. J. Erdenebat - Minister of Finance
8. Mr. D.Dorligjav - Minister of Justice
9. Mr. D.Erdenebat - Minister of Industry
10. Mr. D.Tsogtbaatar - Minister of Construction and Urban development
11. Mr. L. Gantumur - Minister of Education, culture and science
12. Mr. N.Tumurkhuu - Minister of Road and Transport
13. Mr.R.Jigjid - Minister of Mining
14. Mr. S.Chinzorig - Minister of Labor
15. Mr. S.Erdene - Minister of Population development and Social protection
