The President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping is expected to pay a state visit to Mongolia in mid of August, 2014.
Mr Xi Jinping visited Mongolia before in 2008 when he was a Vice President of China, and the forthcoming visit is coincided with the 65th anniversary of the Mongolia-China diplomatic relations and the 20th anniversary of revision of the Friendly Cooperation Treaty.
The People’s Republic of China is considered as the biggest trade partner and investor of Mongolia. The previous President of China Mr Hu Jintao visited Mongolia 11 years ago.
On occasion of the jubilee of the diplomatic relations, the two countries announced 2014 as the year of friendly exchange.
