President Ilham Aliyev inaugurates Holcim-Azerbaijan`s cement plant in Garadagh region

Baku, July 10 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today inaugurated Holcim-Azerbaijan`s cement plant in Garadagh region of Baku.
The Head of State was informed the plant, which produces cement by a dry-mix process, will be a turning point in cement industry of the South Caucasus region. The production of cement by the dry process is the widespread technology in Europe due to its effectiveness in terms of energy consumption and influence on the environment. The project worth € 300 mln will give impetus to developing the country`s industrial sector even more.
