President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by Minister of Defense of the State of Israel Avigdor Lieberman.

The development of relations between Azerbaijan and Israel in economic, military, cultural, and tourism fields was hailed at the meeting. The sides expressed their hope that Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman’s visit to Azerbaijan will contribute to bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

It was noted that all conditions were created for representatives of the Jewish community along with other communities to live in peace and tranquility in Azerbaijan, their active role in public life of the country was underlined.
