Baku, September 23 (AzerTAc). President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received director general of Rossiya Segodnya international news agency Dmitry Kiselyov.
Director general of Rossiya Segodnya international news agency Dmitry Kiselyov thanked the head of state for creating conditions for the activity of the agency in Azerbaijan. He said Azerbaijan-related information offered by the agency was of particular importance to the Russian audience. He praised the conditions created for Russian-language media and Russian-language educational institutions in Azerbaijan.
The head of state said various state programs on the development of education, culture and media were successfully implemented in the country.
The parties discussed different aspects of cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation
in the field of press and information, and underlined the need for expanding and speeding up the relations on this front.
