President Ilham Aliyev receives outgoing Korean ambassador
Baku, August 13 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received outgoing Korean ambassador Jiha Lee.
The Head of State praised the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Korea in different spheres and expressed confidence for the development of the cooperation.
Recalling his last visit to Korea, President Ilham Aliyev noted that he has witnessed rapid development of the country and underlined the importance of cooperation in political, economic, cultural and other fields between the two countries.
The President of Azerbaijan touched upon the operation of Korean companies in the country emphasizing the significance of joint projects being implemented here.
The Head of Azerbaijani State highly appreciated the ambassador’s contribution to expansion of bilateral ties and wished him successes in his future activity.
The Korean ambassador, in his turn, congratulated Ilham Aliyev on the successful results of Azerbaijani athletes in the London Summer Olympics.
The ambassador expressed satisfaction with development of bilateral relations.
The Korean diplomat underlined political, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields between the two countries are satisfactory and expressed confidence these ties would expand.
