President Ilham Aliyev receives State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation

Baku, July 10 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received a Spanish delegation led by State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Gonzalo de Benito.
The Head of State expressed confidence Gonzalo de Benito`s visit to Azerbaijan would be successful in terms of development of the bilateral relationship.
The State Secretary said Spain had been keeping a close eye on Azerbaijan`s economic achievements in recent years.
Gonzalo de Benito noted Spain was interested in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan in various fields.
The State Secretary handed over Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy`s letter to President Ilham Aliyev.
They also discussed expansion of ties between Azerbaijan and Spain on a range of fronts.
