President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva have visited Heydar Aliyev Park in Ganja.
It was said that green areas were laid out in the park, which has all conditions for people`s rest. There is an artificial lake and a waterfall here. There are also catering facilities, entertainment centers and recreation areas.
National leader Heydar Aliyev planted plane trees – a symbol of Ganja – here during the Soviet Union. These trees now impart special beauty to the park.
