Head of Japanese delegation to the 11th ASEM Summit - Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe held several bilateral meeting today (July 15), informs Mr Yasuhisa Kawamura, Press Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan at a press briefing at Shangri La Hotel of Ulaanbaatar. Mr Abe met with German Chancellor, Chinese Premier, PM of Bangladesh and leaders of European Union.

The bilateral meetings touched upon matters of international order, with a focus on the South China Sea issue, terrorism and economic situation, particularly, the impact on Economic Partnership Agreement between Japan and EU after the exit of the United Kingdom from EU. Japan's PM suggested EU to reach some level of agreement in principle on the smooth implementation of the EPA, informed Mr Kawamura.
