Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the UN Security Council is a sign of recognition of its accomplishments at the highest level. Students of one of the Singaporean universities recreated the meeting of the UN Security Council. The debate was held in a layout similar to the meeting room of the UN Security Council in New York with fifteen flags of its members and a round table. The students played the official representatives of the member states of the UN Security Council. Graduate of Nazarbayev University Tasbolat Tauniyazov represented Kazakhstan. He told about the six global initiatives of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev at the UN Security Council meeting.

- Kazakhstan in the UN Security Council is a very proud traditional supporter of the world free of nuclear weapon and the global non-proliferation. I would like to thank President of Kazakhstan for the leadership.

Kazakh student Aruzhan Zhangabayeva proposed to hold a debate on the work of the UN. SP Jain School of Global Management and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Singapore supported her idea.

- Delegates highly appreciated the six initiatives that were announced by our head of state as part of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the UN Security Council. The delegates most actively discussed the initiative to represent Kazakhstan as a platform for peaceful negotiations between different countries.

Kazakh ambassador to Singapore Usen Suleimen issued diplomas and national souvenirs to students with distinctions. The diplomas and presents will remind the debate participants about Kazakhstan and its Chairmanship in the UN Security Council.
