President of Hungary Mr Janos Ader has paid an official visit to Mongolia from the 14th to 16th of April 2015 at the invitation of President of Mongolia Mr Elbegdorj..

The visit is coinciding with the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Hungary and Mongolia deemed the visit very successful. For instance, in the scope of the visit, a Program on Cooperation in education, culture and science in 2015-2017 was signed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of Mongolia and Ministry of Human Capacities of Hungary. This will allow up to 100 Mongolian students to study in Hungary every year through the Hungarian Government’s scholarship.

President of Hungary Mr Janos Ader expressed Hungary’s interest to cooperate with Mongolia in environment, water purification, tree planting, livestock farming and other sectors. He said that there are huge opportunities to promote veterinary medicine production by renovating the “Bio Combinat” factory in Songino and export Mongolia’s meat and food products to the markets of Asia and European countries. Consequently, Hungary could be a logistics center for Mongolia.

Moreover, the Presidents have agreed to re-open the Embassy of Hungary in Ulaanbaatar this May.
On the sidelines of his visit, President of Hungary Janos Ader met with President Elbegdorj and held bilateral talks with him and held meetings with Speaker of the State Great Khural Z.Enkhbold and Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg respectively.
