The President Ts.Elbegdorj has attended an opening ceremony of the first Space Center of Mongolia. A Japanese scholar Sakai Yoshihito has presented to the new center “Minolta MS-8” apparatus as well.
The center displays the “Soyuz-39” spacecraft’s landing capsule, which was used by J.Gurragchaa, first astronaut of Mongolia, and his space facilities and suits.
He was guided by J.Gurragchaa, a former astronaut and Hero of Mongolia and Soviet Union; V.A. Dzhanibekov, Hero of Mongolia and Soviet Union; and M.Ganzorig, a backup cosmonaut.
