Azerbaijan's Valentin Hristov has won gold at the European Weightlifting Championships in Tbilisi, Georgia.

He secured the title in the men's 62 kg category.

Monday will see Azerbaijan`s Boyanka Kostova in action in the women`s 58kg weight category.
