Foreign guests of the 28th Winter Universiade will gave their evaluation to the competitions. They believe that the event will be held at a high level. In their opinion, with such preparation Kazakhstan may even host the Olympics.

I witnessed many student games. But I have never been so impressed. Everything is well thought out to the smallest detail in the Athletic Village. All conditions are created. Hence, the competitions will be held at the highest level.

Amid the large-scale event, other activities are held to mark the Student Games. For example, a book dedicated to the Universiade was presented in Almaty. Its authors are the President of the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism Kairat Zakiryanov and the Secretary General of the Mongolian Student Sports Union Dorjsuren Jargalsaikhan. In their work, they present the history of university sports and the World University Games, beginning from the last century to the present day. The book contains all the materials about the athletic achievements of young people from across the world.

There have been 56 Universiade competitions in the history of the university sports. We wrote in detail about each of them - the hosting cities, kinds of sports, the names of the winners.

Sports experts have already made their forecasts on victories. They believe that the Kazakh athletes are trained very well, so for the first place in the team event they will compete against the strongest team of Russia.
